My Own ‘Alexander’ Teaching Chairs

Let’s face it every Alexander Technique Teacher has to have a picture of a chair somewhere on their website. I’ve been struggling for some time as to how to do that differently. I happen to think different is good. Well fate stepped in to solve my problem.

Travelling on the road out of the quaint village of Bosham in West Sussex recently I suddenly spotted these brightly coloured chairs suspended high up on a wooden pole at the side of the road. They immediately caught my eye and my imagination. After some thought I decided to return with my intrepid photographer in order to capture the image you see here. I hope you like it! It’s given me the inspiration to paint my own ‘Alexander’ teaching chairs.  I’ll let you know how I get on and tell you their story too.
